Service and Billing Terms
Last updated October 29, 2026.
The short version
Start free with no card. Pay monthly or yearly, cancel whenever, and you are not billed again. If we charged you for something you did not mean to buy, tell us and we will refund it. Your files stay readable and exportable, free, whatever happens to your plan.
Who bills you
Docs2books is a product of PM Keeper LLC, which takes your payment. Your card statement shows DOCS2BOOKS PMKEEPER, and receipts show PM Keeper LLC.
Plans and prices
- Free: $0, up to 50 papers, one person. No card needed.
- Docs2books: $7.99 a month or $79.90 a year. No set limit on papers, up to five people.
Prices are in US dollars. The yearly price is ten months' price: two months free. Both plans include every feature.
The paid plan is for a household's own papers. If an account's use goes far past that, we will contact you before anything changes.
Renewal
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel, at the price on your plan. Yearly plans get an email before the renewal charge with the date and amount.
Changing plans
Upgrade, or switch between monthly and yearly, in Settings at any time. The change is prorated: you are charged or credited for the difference over the rest of the period.
Cancelling
Cancel in Settings, under Plan, then Billing and invoices, or email [email protected]. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You keep access until then. There is no fee and no notice period.
After that, your cabinet moves to Free. Everything stays readable, searchable and exportable. Adding new papers past 50 needs the paid plan again.
Refunds
Charges are generally not refundable for a period already under way. We will refund a charge when:
- you were charged after cancelling;
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- the amount does not match your plan;
- Docs2books was unavailable for an extended time in that period through no fault of yours;
- you subscribed by mistake and tell us within 14 days without having used the paid plan; or
- you cancel a yearly plan within 14 days of its renewal charge and have not used it since.
Ask within 60 days of the charge at [email protected]. Refunds go back to the original card and usually show within 5 to 10 business days.
Price changes
If a price changes, we email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel before then.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we try again over the following days and email the plan's owner. Nothing is deleted.
